Our curriculum takes learners through four progressive levels, each building on the last. Every level ends with a milestone assessment and certificate.
The first step into Swahili. Learners discover greetings, introductions, family words, numbers and build a foundation of everyday phrases.
Learners begin forming sentences, having short conversations and developing reading and writing skills. Grammar concepts are introduced naturally through practice.
Longer discussions, storytelling and expressing opinions. Learners read short texts, listen to stories and build confidence in natural Swahili conversation.
Fluent conversation, literature, proverbs and deep cultural discussions. The learner speaks naturally and confidently in Swahili.
Swahili Home was created out of a simple observation: diaspora parents want their children to speak Swahili, but finding reliable, structured lessons is surprisingly difficult. We set out to change that.
